Introducing COLORED PENCILS 2022 - A complete set of pencil brushes and tools that allow you simulate a realistic colored pencil look in Procreate! every effort has gone into making sure they layer well, and the colors behave like they do in real life, which is why we meticulously sampled and tweaked the included x5 color palettes based off a set of real Caran D'Ache Supracolors.

We studied loads of real pencil marks, and translated their natural behavior into Procreate as close to the real thing as possible.

Pro Tip: set the paper texture as the top layer, and change the blend mode to "multiply". This will give everything you do on layers below a paper texture look! You can adjust the "strength" of the paper texture with the layer opacity slider.

This collection is pretty much all you need if you're doing illustrations and want that "color pencil look" :-) Not only that, but these work absolutely perfectly as graphite pencils too! We even included the perfect graphite colors as the first swatches in Color Palette A.

The liners "Pencil Gold" and Sharp Fineline are very versatile - everything in this set was designed for professional work, meaning the brushes can get EXTREMELY large and high resolution, or very small and precise. The real marks/stamps also have an extremely large range, with tons of beautiful texture in them.

So you get a

  • 4000x4000 pixel paper texture (huge, and very useful),
  • 5 Color Palettes
  • 18 Brushes (3 Liners, 5 Texture Shaders, and 10 Real Marks/Stamp brushes)

Procreate 5 is here, and its amazing! You can now install a LOT of brushes at once using the new Files app in iOS 11. We recommend backing up your purchase using an iCloud account (its free), or syncing them to Files with iTunes.

First things first... USE SAFARI on iPad!

Also make sure you open the link in the full Safari app (it must be Safari, no other browser will work), as the side-loaded one that gmail/other email apps use won’t work.

Note: Brush files end in *.brushset

Once you click the file name/download button, a blue arrow in a circle should appear in the top right corner of Safari. This is the "downloads" area. Tap this icon and you should see your download appear in a list like so:

Simply tap the file and it should automatically open in Procreate. Depending on if you've performed this before, it may ask you what you want to do with the file after tapping it, in which case you would simply find the Procreate icon and send it there.
