SKU: inspired-1

Get inspired for Inktober with INSPIRED INK! We're a little late to the game (Inktober is halfway over) but we couldn't wait to share these awesome inking brushes. Designed to be smooth, natural, energetic and full of character - these may just become your new favorite inking brushes (they're definitely ours!). Finishing Inktober can be challenging as you run out of ideas and inspiration... so hopefully these give you the creative kick to keep you going! And if you're not participating, hey, awesome inking brushes!

I love how responsive these brushes are. The range of line weight is fantastic, and the character is preserved 100% through the pressure curve. Let's take a look at what you get:

Included are 5 brushes:

Paper Chisel - Probably our favorite! This brush has a "chisel" tip, meaning its thinner when drawing up/down, and thicker side to side. It has a  wonderful worn "papery" feel to its texture, and has such a great line weight.

Old Felt Tip - With natural worn edges, a degraded and broken line, this brush is sure to inspire with its sketch feel, almost a hybrid of a pencil and a pen! Great for a rougher and natural look.

Solid Liner - You don't always want a worn look, sometimes you just need solid! This brush has a solid black line, while maintaining the responsiveness and handmade feel of the others in this set.

Bleeding Edge - Here at Tip Top Brushes, we *love* bleeding edge pens. We've been developing our technique for a while, and we must say this is our favorite. The line has a watery bleeding quality, while staying manageable and not too sloppy. Really great!

Photocopier Sketcher - This one is unique, it has a brilliantly crisp sharp edge and a rough feel. Great for when you want a line that REALLY pops, yet still has texture and feel.

You'll need Procreate 4 to take advantage of all the brush features, and preferably an Apple Pencil for the pressure sensitive brushes.

Procreate 4 is here, and its amazing! You can now install a LOT of brushes at once using the new Files app in iOS 11. We recommend backing up your purchase using an iCloud account (its free), or syncing them to Files with iTunes.

First things first... USE SAFARI on iPad!

Also make sure you open the link in the full Safari app (it must be Safari, no other browser will work), as the side-loaded one gmail/other email apps use won’t work.

Tip Top Brush sets use the new "Brushset" file format made available in Procreate 4.2+. This is great! You can now load brushes with one single file. Once you've completed your purchase, select the blue button "access digital content" and you will be presented with a list of your purchased brush sets.

If it ends in *.brushset, it is the file you want (color swatches go in the swatches menu.)

1. Using Safari on iPad, tap the file and wait for it download (might take a few minutes if you have a slow collection, the brushes often use high resolution textures). Most sets are around 30MB, but it tells you next to the file name. Please make sure once you click the brush file name you give it long enough to download, especially if you have a slower internet connection. Once you click the link it will begin loading another page, but it won’t look like much is happening until it’s done.

2. Now select "Open in Procreate". Done! The set can be found as a new group in the brushes menu.
